NIB CUSTOMIZATION

Nib customization can vary from a simple smoothing or increasing/decreasing flow, to a complete reshaping. The idea is to tailor the nib to your personal preferences and writing style.

NIB TUNING

Simple nib work, like smoothing and ink flow adjustment, is called nib tuning.

NIB GRINDING

Nib grinding is more complex and will alter the core shape of the nib tip, but it can also add more personality and distinctiveness to your writing.

CUSTOM SERVICES

Custom services include the most complicated nib-work like repairing bent nibs, adding flex to nibs, etc. These are not offered at pen-shows and are undertaken on a case-to-case basis.

A NOTE OF CAUTION

Please note that making ANY KIND OF adjustments to your pen and nib can potentially void the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Nib grinding will DEFINITELY void the original manufacturer’s warranty and if the grind doesn’t work out, you may have to replace either the nib or the pen.

All adjustment and nib grinding work is carried out at the customer’s risk. While I take all precautions to ensure perfect results without any damage, I am not liable for any damages to the pen or nib, whether direct or consequential.
